Our Watersports Center in Essaouira groups up with our friends from the Hiking Center in Taliouine in the Anti-Atlas area. Your tailor-made Morocco trip crafted by local trekking and watersport experts is ready!

We have prepared two packages for you. Everything from Transfer to accommodation and food is well taken care of. The only thing left for you to do is listening to your heart and decide whether it is the mountain or the ocean that is calling you.
1) THE MOUNTAIN CALL TREKKING
On this hike we will enter the heart of the west of the Western High Atlas, this little-known part of the great Maghreb chain which extends from the Tizi N 'Test pass to the Atlantic coast. This beautiful unspoiled region where the Berber villages with their stone houses play to merge with the landscape. The beauty of nature and the kindness of our local team make this stay unforgettable.
2) THE OCEAN CALL TREKKING
With this package you are free to choose whether you join first our kitesurf and surf school for some fun at our homespot Essaouira Bay or if you want to start with a stroll along the amazing coastline of Mogador for a couple of days. No matter how you decide your adventure holiday will leave you with unforgettable memories.

Trekking

You will explore first the beautiful heights of the Western Atlas. After an amazing Trek in the hills of Morocco’s highest mountain chain you will be transferred to Essaouira: The most beautiful and chilled out city along the Moroccan coast! The Essaouira Watersports family will take care of everything and make sure you will enjoy your surf or kitesurf lessons with our experienced instructors.

Duration

  • 6 days, 5.5 days trekking, 5 nights in bivouac

Level

  • Easy: about 5 -6 hours walking per day (Possibility to adapt duration and level of the daily goals) Mountain hiking on mule tracks and off trails.

Accomodation & Pension

  • Full board during the trek: breakfast, cold lunch at noon, hot in the evening, chocolate bars, dates and nuts for breaks during walking.
  • Bivouacs in tents with mattresses (1 tent for 2 people with possibility 1 place tent on request)

Team

  • A Moroccan mountain guide, a cook and local mule drivers
  • Bivouacs in tents with mattresses (1 tent for 2 people with possibility 1 place tent on request)
  • The team of mule / donkey drivers was trained on site and these men come from a village in the valley of the wadi n’fiss where the trek takes place.
  • They have been working, as well as our berber cook, with us for many years.
  • Many years in mutual respect and friendship.
  • These people are paid fairly. These are peasants with their mule or donkey. this activity provides them with additional income .
  • Supervision, full board trekking, pets pack, loan of 2-person tents and mattresses, 2 nights in bivouac.
  • All route transfers from the hike week until essaouira.

Transport

  • Transfers with approved tourist vehicles
  • Pack mules for luggage.
  • Possibility of additional mule or saddle donkey (on request).

Temperatures

  • At altitudes between 2000m and 3000m: mild to cool during the day, it can get chilly to cold at night.

The priceit does not include

  • Personal drinks and drinks, the purchase of souvenirs.
  • It is customary to tip the guide, the cook and to the mule drivers at the end of the trek.

Watersports

You can decide what package is the ideal one for you when you arrive in our watersports center in Essaouira. We have everything ready for all level of kitesurf or surf.

  • 2 nights accomodation half pension in the Riad le matin bleu
  • 4 hours of watersports (surf or kitesurf)
  • Transport to the airport Agadir or Marrakech
  • Transport from and to the airport
  • Accommodation in essaouira for min 2 nights
  • Watersports lesson of min 4hours surf or kitesurf

The priceit does not include

  • Further activities in and around Essaouira like Hammam, horse riding etc.
